San Mateo auto repair

My auto matic shifter was not working properly , ie locking in park, and would not shift into drive or reverse. I took it to four car garage , David diagnosed the problem, did the necessary repair and my car was ready to go in less than 24 hours. Now it runs perfectly again.

I've been going to Four Car Garage for Maintenance on my 2018 Volvo V60 for a little over 4 years now. They just did a full service 60,000 mile work up on her including tires. I have been happy and impressed since my first visit. I love that it's a woman owned business-Jennifer! that Albert! is always kind, friendly and fully explains work that needs to be done and offers now and later options. I'm offered a loaner car and given regular progress updates. My car and I are grateful, more than satisfied customers. Riding safe and smooth. Side note: there may be too many feeling as opposed to mechanical/technical words in my review but as a woman driver and car owner of 50 years I have had more than my share of very bad experiences with mechanics. It's refreshing to be treated with kindness, respect and intelligence. Thank you Four Car!

The Four Car Garage is a family owned business and they treated me as part of the family. In addition to the routine service maintenance, I had brakes and emergency brakes release problems. After they inspected the problems, they called me and discussed the cost per item. With my approval, the job was completed and my Mercedes actually drives like new. I am very happy with their and will recommend Four Car Garage to anyone without hesitation. The technicians do their job with a sense of ownership.

Mechanics inspect and alert us to work that might be needed as car ages and recommend preventive service. So far, it's worked for our 19-year-old Honda.

I went here for a simply inspection of my '89 MR2 MK1 SC. They were extremely thorough, swift, and gave a detailed breakdown of my car. The staff we're extremely helpful and patient with any questions I had. Jennifer was an amazing medium and kept me informed. All the people were amazing! Would recommend
