San Mateo auto repair

I have an older model foreign car, (luxury/exotic) that is difficult to have serviced short of bringing it to an authorized dealer, which I refuse to do. I live in San Francisco, Four Car Garage was referred to me as THE PLACE to go for independent service on my make/model. I am pleased I made the trip to San Mateo to do the repair and will continue to do so in the future. I will sum-up the results: great communication, friendly and comprehensive service, throughout the 10-day repair process; no attempt to up-sell; fair pricing. What more can I say? Four Car Garage is local, family-owned, in business for many years. It appears to me they have built an excellent reputation and make a continuous effort to maintain it. I feel lucky to have found them, and I will come back.
