My wife and I recently were interested in purchasing a classic Rolls Royce from 3,000 miles away. This is not a very good idea to begin with, and without true independent experts to assist, it is a guaranteed disaster. But fortunately, Gary and Diane's, Four Car Garage were recommended for the inspection of our potential purchase. Gary found, and reported things on the inspection that caused us to rethink the purchase and to walk away. But Gary's confidence that he could handle the repairs needed, with a detailed estimate for each item, gave us the feeling that we could go ahead with the purchase of this beautiful car. (Beautiful cars don't always have the ability to run beautifully as well.)In the time to follow, Gary communicated each night, complete with pictures, that showed us the work being done, both before and after. If a new problem was found during the work, which was a minimal occurrence, we were given the estimated price before proceeding. In every case, the price quoted was never exceeded, the paper work exact and the work done expertly!It is due to the expertise and the integrity of Four Car Garage that we now own an absolutely beautiful classic Rolls Royce. Do yourself a favor and go see the good folks at Four Car Garage ! These guys did an outstanding job replacing the complete rear end of my 1990 Range Rover and are just all around good people. You won't be disappointed, Don H.

I had already taken my car twice for the engine light on. Both times the mechanic did other things that totaled $1100. but the light still came back on next day on both accounts. Then a friend recommended Four Car Garage and they not only fixed that problem but found that my fuel pump was not functioning however Diane called Mini Cooper and that problem was covered under warranty (by Mini not my extended warranty that was already up). Four Car took care of the tow to Mini Cooper in Sunnyvale, tow back and completed all the work. Don't think I could be happier to find a great new mechanic that has been around for many years in Burlingame. Also family owned and seriously cares about their service and reputation.

From my 318i to my 328xi, Gary and his team have cared for my cars over the years like they were his own. From routine service to a major transmission replacement, I've always been extremely satisfied with the work and customer service. Never have they recommended parts or service that wasn't necessary, and the use of a loaner vehicle is a great option. I live in SF, but I'll continue bringing my bmer to Four Car! Well worth the drive!

Gary and Ty are awesome. I live a few blocks away and always walk by this shop - they are always filled with cool cars!! The customer service is excellent. One night I needed to have a bushing pressed out for a project car, and even though I came in after they closed, Gary stayed AFTER HOURS to help me get the job done. I highly recommend this place to anyone. They've been around for so long - their reputation speaks for themselves!

Naturally, my husband was out of town when I heard a funny noise coming from the power steering in my Mercedes. Since we're new to the area, I asked a neighbor to recommend a good, honest mechanic. I chose Four Car Garage based on his recommendation that Gary, the owner, was very knowledgeable, honest and accommodating. I initially spoke with his wife, Diane, over the phone who asked me a few questions before determining that it was OK to drive my car into the shop that same morning. I received a call about an hour later - turns out it was a minor problem. They quoted me a price and said it would be ready by lunch time. My car was ready when I got there and I was delighted to see that they had washed it too! I had a great experience and was happy to report to my husband that I found us a reliable auto shop. I would highly recommend this professional and courteous family owed business.
